About StudyRise

StudyRise is a study-planning app built around a simple idea: a plan you can actually follow beats a perfect plan you abandon in week three.

Most study tools are either a to-do list that holds tasks or a calendar that holds dates. Neither builds the plan for you, and neither keeps it honest when life moves a few sessions. StudyRise does both. You give it your subjects and a target date; it lays out a paced, day-by-day plan, schedules your reviews so you don't forget what you cover, tracks your practice, and tells you where you actually stand.

Why StudyRise exists

Good study plans drift. You map out a beautiful timetable, miss three days to a placement or a deadline, and suddenly the whole grid needs redrawing by hand. Most people never redraw it — they just fall behind and cram. The problem was never effort; it was that keeping a plan balanced across months of real life is genuinely hard to do manually.

StudyRise was built to take that maintenance off your plate. It reschedules when you fall behind, keeps coverage, questions, mocks and spaced reviews in proportion, and surfaces the single highest-leverage thing to do next — so the plan bends around your week instead of breaking.

One system, three modes

Underneath every mode is the same loop: plan the syllabus, review it on a spaced schedule, track what you practise, and read your real readiness. What changes is the shape that loop takes around your goal.

Exam Mode is built for high-stakes licensing exams like the AMC MCQ, PLAB 1 and USMLE. University Mode plans a whole semester for any course — units, assessments, weightings and heavy-week warnings, with an LMS calendar import. MBBS Mode keeps a live record of professional-exam eligibility for medical students in Bangladesh under the BMDC 2021 structure. See how the three fit together on the features page.

Who builds StudyRise

StudyRise is an independent, founder-led project — built and run by a solo developer trading as StudyRise, not a large company. That's a deliberate choice: it keeps the product close to the students who use it, quick to improve, and free of the noise that comes with scale. Questions, feedback and bug reports go straight to a real person at our contact page or hello@studyrise.app.

StudyRise is a planning and tracking tool, not an authority on any exam. It is not affiliated with the Australian Medical Council, the USMLE program, the GMC, the BMDC, or any university or examination board, and it never guarantees an exam outcome. Please read our disclaimer and always verify dates, eligibility and requirements with the relevant official body.

What we believe

Calm, not guilt

Rest counts as rest, never a missed day. The app nudges with a suggestion, not an alarm — steady beats frantic.

Your data is yours

Export everything as JSON or delete your account and all its data whenever you want. We never sell your data.

Honest by default

Readiness projections come from your own logged data and are shown as a trend, never a promise. No black boxes.
