How is MBBS prof eligibility calculated in Bangladesh?
Under the BMDC 2021 structure there are two hard gates. First, attendance: you need at least 75% attendance, and it is checked separately for each class type — lecture, tutorial and practical. Second, formative marks: you need at least 60% in your in-course formative assessments. This calculator applies those same 75% and 60% figures to whatever you enter and shows where you stand. The gates are identical for every prof — 1st through 5th.
Why does attendance matter per class type?
Because the 75% requirement is checked in every class type on its own, not as one combined average. If your lectures are at 90% but your practicals are at 70%, the practical figure is what fails the gate. The gate binds on your lowest class type, so this tool checks lecture, tutorial and practical separately and reports the weakest one.
Is this an official result?
No. It is an estimate calculated from the numbers you type in. Your medical college holds the official record of your attendance, marks and eligibility. Always confirm your real standing with your college — treat this as a quick self-check, not a decision.
